Enzat [R below] is an easy-to-use insert nut that can be used on materials such as resin and wood where direct tapping can easily cause thread damage.
It has a slotted cutting edge and cuts the mating material with its own blade, so no front tapping is required.
The Ensat [R below] supports the force applied to the internal thread with the larger external thread, so it can withstand higher forces than a straight tap.
The limit of reinforcement using Enzat [R below] is the inherent shear strength of the mating material or the mechanical strength of the bolts used.
