[Features] ● Enzat [R] is an easy-to-use insert nut that can be used with resin and aluminum, where direct tapping can easily destroy the female thread. ● It has a cutting edge with a split groove or three holes, and cuts the mating material with its own blade, so no pre-tapping is required. ● By reinforcing the female thread with Enzat [R], it is possible to make parts from aluminum or resin, which helps to reduce weight. ● Enzat [R] supports the force applied to the internal thread with an external thread that is one size larger, so it can withstand higher forces than direct tapping. ● Reinforcement using Enzat [R] is limited by the inherent shear strength of the mating material or the mechanical strength of the bolt used. ● Type 307 (three-hole type) is suitable for mild steel, high-strength aluminum alloys, and hard resins that are prone to cracking.
